Do you provide in-home price quotations?
Yes. Our project managers will visit with you at no cost or obligation. No pressure. They will tell you about Betterliving patio rooms and sunrooms, measure your room and give you an “exact to the penny” cost of the room that you help design.
Do you have a price list?
Each room is built to your exact requirements; there are no standard rooms. Also, there are many options that are available that affect the price of your room. All of this makes it impractical to create a price list.
How long does it take to install a room?
After all the preparatory work is completed, most rooms can be completely built in less than 2 weeks.
Are any permits required?
Yes. The requirements for permits vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. However, we will obtain all required permits for our scope of work. All work is done to meet or exceed code requirements.
Do you only build certain size rooms?
No. We provide rooms that meet your precise requirements. The project manager who visits your home will help you choose where to place the sliding doors, windows, etc. You will get exactly the room you want—not a pre-designed room.
What kind of glass is used in the patio rooms?
The windows and doors of the patio rooms are made of fully tempered glass. This type of glass is much stronger than regular glass so it will not shard. If it were to break, it would fall to the floor in small harmless pieces, like automobile glass.
Does the addition of a patio room increase the value of my house?
Yes. Your Betterliving patio room or sunroom should add nearly 100 percent of its purchase price to the value of your home.
Do you help with financing?
Yes. Although we do not do financing ourselves, we are affiliated with several sources. We’re happy to handle all of the front-end paperwork for you.
What guarantee is provided on the patio room?
The manufacturer, Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Company, provides a lifetime warranty on the glass and a 50-year limited warranty on the room material. We provide a five-year warranty on installation. All guarantees are fully transferable if you sell your home.
How long has Craft-Bilt been in business?
Craft-Bilt started in business in 1946. They have a 214,000 square foot facility on 38 acres in Souderton, Pennsylvania.
